Move Access database to a server with a different name

An Access database was backed up and restored on a server, in a different
domain, with a different name.

What steps do I need to take so that the database is usable on the new
server?

I know nothing of Access.

An Access database is simply a file, like a Word .doc or Excel .xls.

Nothing special should be required.

However, if this is a back-end database (containing strictly tables and
relationships), and you've got front-end databases linked to it, you'll have
to relink the tables in all of the front-ends.

And if you have hardcoded export or import file names and directories,
then they may have to be changed also.
