Mouseover comments like in Excel

I have Office/Word 2003 SP-1 and the comments are stuck over in the
right margin with a long, dotted red line to where the comment is
inserted. Mousing over it in any view view still doesn't make it pop up
when hovering the mouse over it. Is it possible to have comments like in
Excel?

Hi Tonya,

From the Tools menu, select Options and go to the Track Changes tab and set
the display of Balloons to Never.

Just to follow up on this. Doug emailed me a Word document with a
comment in it after I had sent him an email saying that what he said
didn't work. Well it does work. I was just testing comments but had no
text for the comment to act upon so the comments didn't work.
