mouse right-click disabled?

Hello

I have some reference database files that I have downloaded. One thing I've noticed is that the database creator diabled the mouse right-click action. Usually (in my database) if I right-click on my mouse over my forms I get displayed a menu which includes desgin. How did he disable this so that I can do the same to my database and avoid any problem with my users

Thanks

Daniel

in individual forms, you can set the form's Shortcut Menu property to No.

for the database, go to Tools, Startup and uncheck the box next to Allow
Default Shortcut Menus, then click OK. you have to close and re-open the
database for this change to take effect. also, keep in mind that users can
bypass the Startup settings by holding down the shift key while opening the
database.

In the StartUp window, (Tools > Startup...) there is a checkbox for Allow
Default Shortcut Menus. Uncheck that, and the next time it is opened, you
won't be able to use the right-click.
