Mouse pointer doesn't move, but buttons work

Hi,

I have a Logitech EX 100 mouse/keyboard combo which worked fine until
now. Yesterday the mouse pointer stopped moving, it's just sitting at
the center of the screen. I tried reconnecting with the receiver,
replacing the batteries, but nothing helped.

The strange thing is the buttons and the wheel are working properly. I
can click, scroll, only I can't move the mouse pointer.

Any idea what else I could try?

Thanks in advance.

Does a different mouse work? If so and swapping out the drivers doesn't do
the trick, well, it's probably broken and if it is under warranty then bring
it back.
