Samuel Shulman

Hi all

I want to change the settings of the mouse pad so a click on the mouse pad
will like a left mouse button click

How can I do that?

I tried the Control Panel/Mouse options but I couldn't find a related
settings

Thank you,
Samuel

What does it do now? If nothing, it's possible the mousepad never had
that ability. If it should, look for a program in the Start menu, or
possibly in the tray area, that would let you set its preferences.

Go to the laptop manufacturer page, click Support and enter the model
number. There should be information on the notebook there.

Click on your mouse pad? What!?
I've never seen a mouse pad that you could click, I had one that had a
calculator built-in once.

Oh, I see. You mean a touchpad. You have a laptop! Right?

Generally you will find the settings for your TouchPad (not mouse pad) in
the Mouse settings in Control Panel. There will be an additional tab for
it.

You might also look for a separate Control Panel item for the touchpad -
Synaptics sometimes installs one.
