Mouse/keyboard macros in XP?

I have a program which I would like to have open with a precise window size
& screen position each time (Nero Home, which I use to play videos from the
pc to the tv. Image is only centered on the TV when it is in the upper
right hand corner of the pc monitor & the exact right size). Tried closing
it from this position while pressing control, which works for many programs,
but alas not this one. So I want to write a macro to run for the window
sizing/positioning steps. Seems like older windows (3.1, 95, maybe) had a
macro program, though I don't remember what it was called. If XP has this
function, I can't find it. Does the OS have this, if not, is there a good
free macro program? I see several for $20-$30, needless to say I'd prefer
GRATIS ;-)

I don not have a "macro" but I know of a utility which can "monitor"
opened windows and place them back to you settings. Autosizer is also
FREE.

I just found this software:

You can define any script which seems to "mimick" a macro.
