Mouse focus - how to disable?

Every time my mouse pointer rests on a file in Windows Explorer it
highlights it and brings the focus to that area. Is there any way of
disabling this? I tried to do it in the registry but it didn't seem to
work. Regedit, Control Panel, Mouse, Active Window Tracking is it 0 for
disable. Any ideas?

Go to your mouse properties or cp and turn off the X-mouse feature.

I already have that unchecked. I use a program called FolderSize that
calculates all those values automatically. Amazingly useful.
But I don't care about information about that file. I just don't want focus
to move to that area of the screen every time the mouse rests on something.
