Hi,
Still having all kinds of problems with XP windows
explorer. This item shuts down on startup, causing reboot.
In addition I have a bad power supply (or mobo). When the
system crashes and restarts, It sometimes remains a total ,
blank, leading me to believe that the power supply (or mobo
regulators) could be bad. I usually have to hit the power
kill switch on back of pc to reset the problem.
I hope to have enough money next month to buy a new power
supply, so will know more then.
After that I'll go through the other possibles, (drive,
video card, etc) one at a time. In the meanwhile, I'll
transfer over to a dinosaur (Pentium dell 200 with win
98se). Hopefully I will be able to tell more from off line
about this problem.
I do know that when i boot dos (from a floppy or cd) the
system does not have any problem.
