Motion Paths

I have a slide where I move a number of objects (about 10) sequentially but
then at the end of the slide I want the first 4 objects to return to their
original positions.

Is there any way that I can do this?

Any help would be appreciated

I tried the teleporting but this is not what I am trying to do - I want an
object to move from A - B and remain there while a number of other objects
move on the slide. Once the last object has moved I want the 1st object now
at B to return along the same path back to A.

I hope this helps clarify my problem.

There are few ways you can do so.
You can add another motion path, then move the path so that it matches the
original path, with the exception that the starting position (green) is now
the ending position (red) and vice versa.

Another way is to make a duplicate of the object so that it has the original
path attached. Then, right click on the path and click reverse path
direction. Move the path so that it matches the original path.
Once the original object reached its destination, make it disappear, while
the duplicate will appear With Previous.
Lastly, the duplicate motion path will be the last animation.

Might sounds complicated, feel free to email and send me a copy to

When you go back to a slide by clicking on a link, PowerPoint will remember
that the animation has been played and not repeat it again. One way you can
do is to reset the builds. Check the solution (Sample Code to Reset the
Builds on a Slide) out:
