Motion Path Query

Hi All! Thanking anyone for a reply!PP 2003.

I have drawn two long rectangles and placed a large number of small photos
within these. One is placed at the very top and the other at the bottom of
the slide. The rectangle and photos have been grouped together. The top
grouping has a motion path to the left & the other the right.

The rectangle is placed within the slide and reaches outside the slide to
cover for the motion effect.

Now, when it runs, all appears well. Then it stops and starts moving again
to the left and right. There is no auto reverse.

What is the best approach to prevent the short stop and have it look like
the motion continues continually.

It is a bit tricky to explain (and it is on my list of tutorials to finish),
but here the basic concept - hopefully with some trial and error you get
this working smooth.
- Duplicate each of your rectangles
- Note the duration of the first motion path. For this to work you need to
adjust it to something that can be divided by 2. So it is is 17 seconds,
make it 18 seconds.
- Set each motion path to repeat (either a set number, until next click, or
until end of slide)
- Assuming the first motion path begins at 0 seconds
- Set the second motion path to begin at 9 seconds (half of the time of the
first)
- Now you should end up with a smooth, continuous motion flow of your photos
