Mothers computer will not pull up a web browser.

I gave my mother my dell computer and when we tried to get her online,
it would dial up but when I would try to get her to the internet it
will not give a browser. I did have sbcyahoo.com at one time and have
tried to delete that but it will not let me, it just keeps blinking
with that site trying to pull up. Please help me figure out how to get
a web browser on this computer please. Thank you very much. Denise

What version of Windows?
Do you still have the installation disks?

Look in C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer. Is iexplore.exe there? What if
you double click it?
