Recently my computer turned off and when I went to turn it back on I
heard a load *Crack Crack* noise and so I quickly pulled the power
cable out from the back of the tower. I then opened it up and could
smell a horrid burnt smell but couldn't find the source of it. After
looking around at the motherboard for some time, I found that a corner
of a black square on the board beside the cpu had broke off. I then
plugged the tower back up and turned it on and found that it ran just
fine and that the temperatures in the bios seemed normal around 37C.
But after about an hour it had turned off again. I left it alone for
awhile to let it cool off, thinking that was the problem, I then tried
to turn it back on again but just heard a small fan kick on and then it
died again. Now nothing happens when I push the powerbutton.
Nothing is overclocked.

I tired circling what I was talking about in a picture that I got from
newegg of my motherboard model.
