Greetings --

First of all, please unstick your CapsLock key. Posting in all
caps, as you have done, is the Usenet equivalent of shouting, and is
considered very rude. More importantly, posting in all caps makes the
post very hard to read, further reducing your chances of getting help.

Normally, unless the new motherboard is virtually identical to the
old one (same chipset, same IDE controllers, same BIOS version, etc.),
you'll need to perform a repair (a.k.a. in-place upgrade)
installation, at the very least:

How to Perform an In-Place Upgrade of Windows XP

As always when undertaking such a significant change, back up any
important data before starting.

This will probably also require re-activation. If it's been more
than 120 days since you last activated that specific Product Key,
you'll most likely be able to activate via the internet without
problem. If it's been less, you might have to make a 5 minute phone
call.

Rodrob2000,

Did you have trouble reading the first line of my post? Well, your
post gave me trouble. In fact, it was so LOUD that I quit reading it
before the third word.

Do us a favor - pry off your Caps Lock key, bust it into many pieces
with a hammer, put those pieces into a trash can, then repost your
message using normal characters (I mean, not all caps). All caps is
considered shouting, rude, and hard to read.

Learn how to post correctly and you'll notice you get a lot more help.
