Most movies save but some don't

I have a number of hockey games that have been recorded with the same camera
on different days. I import them onto my laptop with the software that came
with the camera. The clips for each game are converted into multiple wmv's
and then combined in Movie Maker to make a complete game.

Same camera for every game.
Same laptop for every game.
Same process used for every game.

There are two of 21 games that I can't get to work. What happens is, when I
import the multiple wmv's into the timeline and try to save the movie....
nothing. It will hang at "estimating time remaining".

If everything is the same, could it still be a codec problem?

I suspect the files are damaged in some
way...maybe weak camera batteries when
downloading.

Maybe you could import the .wmv files into
Windows Media Encoder and resave them.
It might repair them.
