More than one "Contacts" in address book

Hi all:

When I click on the "To" button in a new e-mail form, I get this error
saying:

"The address list could not be displayed. The Contacts folder associated
with this address list could not be opened; it may have been moved or
deleted, or you do not have permission. For information on how to remove this
folder from the Outlook Address Book, see Microsoft Office Outlook Help."

I have recently discovered that in the window where I would see all of my
contacts, and in the "Show Names from The:" field has one choice of Outlook
Address Book and the rest are three catagories that just say, "Contacts" the
last one though choice of "Contacts" has all of my contacts in it. How do I
get rid of the three? And just keep the one that has all of my contacts in it?

Thanks...

You have managed to accumulate invalid references to Contact Folders in your
Outlook Address Book Service, probably by migrating Outlook data
incorrectly.
Remove the invalid references here: Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change
existing directories or address books > Outlook Address Book > Change.

Great! It works...but I still endup seeing the "Outlook Address Book" under,
"show names from the:" box...would you know how to make my contacts transfer
to that? Or is that a bit to complicated. I was just curious, not that I want
to transfer to that. Or how can I delete "Outlook Address Book" option from
that drop down list? Or should that not be deleted?

It should not be deleted (not could you). You are seeing the correct folder
hierarchy and it is supposed to be there. It is the folder that will list
every Contacts Folder that you have enabled as an email address book so that
you can see them when you launch the Outlook Address Book Service.
