... anything manufactured foodstuff is bad for the young and old!

children shouldn't have "sweeties" as they'll likely suffer from Diabetes & Obesity in later lives ... better to not eat anything, but my Dr says one could suffer by not eating.


(sarcasm not directed at OP ;) )

Oh no, I love those bars! That being said, it's been a while since I had one. Better to be safe than sorry I guess!

There are often some scaremongering reports, which the tabloids make a huge fuss about. But on closer inspection, we discover that we would actually need to consume impossibly huge amounts to ever be at risk.

But...this report does appear to be different. It tells us that three different brands, out of 20 tested products, contained "dangerous levels" of MOAHs which are: "unacceptably high for consumption." So avoiding them imho, seems very sensible... (although not so easy to explain to a little one, of course.)
