More on Unable to delete Recycler files

Martin

I forgot to add the following:

I tried using the information in the Knowledge Base
article 229041 to delete the recycler files. The recycler
files are stored in:

D:\Recoverybin\Volume-7xxxxxx\Recycler

I have used cmd.exe and then tried to change to the
recycler folder. However it will not recognise the "Volume-
7xxxxxxx" directory (I have tried cd\volume-7xxxxxxx, and
cd\7xxxxxxx - none work).

Can anybody help?

Many Thanks
Martin

Hello Martin,

Try to go to d:\recycler folder and then shift+delete your SID folder that
should delete the files in the recycle bin.

This is part of your problem. This is not the normal recycler folder.
It would be under d:\recycler

Looks like you have some kind of third party file protection program
running which is protecting all your deleted files. You need to open
that program and use it to get rid of the files.
