More FP 2002 assistance

Please bare with me on this as I have always let FP take care of things
smoothly and this is the first type of hitch I have run into. I recently has
some great assistance from an MVP member in this group. With the assistance,
I published my site from one computer to my new computer over my home
network. My steps were;
- open my web in FP 2002
- Publish Site to laptop/d:/myweb
- Aside from a message saying that on one of my pages a form component might
not work (I think page counter) it appeared to publish everything fine to
the new computer. It shows a globe on a folder and when I opened it in FP is
looked fine. (from what I could tell).

My question (sorry for taking so long) is that there seems to be folders
missing.

Will these folder appear once I publish my site again to my existing or new
host? Or have I gone and blown what was supposed to be simple steps to
follow? I appreciate any and all feedback.

Thanks,
Sam

What program are you using to look for these folders?
If FrontPage, they will always be hidden.

If Windows Explorer, set up Windows Explorer to show hidden files. If
using Windows XP:
Open Windows Explorer, Tools->Folder Options - View Tab The settings
are check boxes in the Advanced Settings section.

OT - While doing this, also set up Windows Explorer to display
extensions for known file types - this is a defence against viruses and
spyware since you can then see whether document.txt really is that, or
is actually document.txt.scr
