More Form problems.

I have created a customised mail message form, using IPM.Note as a starting
point, but I can't quite complete the final stage. I've got a Categories
button, and I've got a Do Not AutoArchive check box. I now want to add an
Expires check box and date field similar to that available under Options. in
an open message. The idea being that I will be able to easily complete
these task for both Outgoing and Incoming mail.

I can add a check box from the Toolbox, I can set the properties to Expires,
but this doesn't give me the date field!

I can add Expires from the Field Chooser, but this doesn't give me a check
box!

There must be a way of doing this, perhaps by somehow combining these two,
but how?

Typical. As soon as I've posted the question I think I've stumbled across
the solution, more by accident than design. However I'd still appreciate
any guidance anyone can offer so I can check what I'm doing.

Another problem I've now found is that I can't associate a calendar drop
down with the Expires date field. The Toolbox doesn't contain the relevant
button, and I don't know where else to look to find it. Any suggestions -
other than give up:)

Hopefully final additional problem.

Got my customised form working at work, however when I Reply to a message
the ICON in my Inbox associated with that message doesn't change as does the
ICON associated with a message replied to using the standard message form.

Sue Mosher has previously written "It means that you have to tell users not
to expect icons to change when using a custom form." However I can't help
feeling that it must be possible to make the ICON change, I also feel that
it's probably not easy. Has anyone cracked this particular problem, if so
how?
