I am looking to be able to click on a highlighted text to give an expanded
information page. I would like it to work on any computer rather than
require macro's enabled. I know that most web pages do this. Also can it
work to position an indexed glossary for easy location of items of interest,
etc...

I am kind of confused on what you are looking for. If you don't want the user
to have to leave the page they are viewing you could just use a tool tip or a
popup.

Frontpage doesn't use macros - are you posting to the correct group? Your
question sounds like something the MS Word group could answer.

Andrew,
Perhaps by macros, the OP means use of Javascipt functions, which does
require that javascript be enabled

DOC,
If your query does apply to FrontPage or more generally to web pages, there
are some easy ways to bring up a page when a text is clicked,
e.g. Spawn by Jimco http://www.jimcosoftware.com/ but this does require
Javascript

I think we do need a little more info., especially on the indexed glossary.

Are you suggesting a list of topics such that when any is clicked, a page
relating to that topic is displayed?

This can be done, again using Spawn on a list. I am sure I could find some
code to post if this is what you want.

I have also seen some ideas using CSS and hidden <div>s which may not use
Javascript
