More columns in Start/Programs

When I click on All programs in the Start menu I just get
one column, so I have to scroll to get to the right program.
I've had more columns before and I want them back. How do
I accomplish that? I have XP service pack 2.

Thanks!

Thx for the tip Gerry, but I already knew those things. The problem is that
after clicking Start|All programs the programs are just listed in 1 column. I
dont want to scroll that column; I want 2-3 columns right up. That was the
case before. Dont know what has happened now. Any ideas, anyone?

Give this a try.

Classic Start Menu >>
Right click the Start button | Properties |
Start Menu tab | Customize button |
Scroll down to and Uncheck both of these:
? Scroll Programs * |
? Use Personalized Menus **
OK | Apply | OK

O Yes! Thanks Don!
I tried Modern Start (right click) | Properties | Start Menu | Customize and
then unchecked the Scroll button and that worked.
Maybe u also know the answer to my question "Configuring folder options?" ?
Anyway, thx.

Hi!
I have some problems with Folders Options:File Types:
1: How do I delete some of the alternative actions for
file types? I cant delete them right away cause I cant access them.

2: The action open and explore in Folders and File Folders has the wrong
program associated with them. What program should I associate
open with? I tried Windows Explorer but the path to it wasnt
recognised by my computer, even though I browsed to it.

Getting this right would be great! Thanks!
