monthly view

My default view is monthly at high details. My calendar comes up at the week
that contains the first. I would like to have it come up with the week before
the current date. This is particularly an issue near the end of the month as
the past is only relevant to me as far back as the previous week. Is their
any way to customize the view and have it come up and display only the past
that you want it to.

This is not possible - you'll need to select the weeks you want to see in
the navigation calendars.
