Monitor.inf repeatedly installing

Hi I have a number pc's that I am deploying an image to via altiris the
image has not changed but in the last few day everytime I deploy the
image to the PC's I get the message windows has just installed new
devices and wants to reboot, after each reboot I check the setupapi.log
and it is the same thing installing each time which is monitor.inf. I
have tried copying a new monitor.inf file into the c:\windows\inf
folder without success.

this is only affecting dell machines

Which Dell machines? More Importantly, which graphics controller? 945GM/GMS
