Monitor Clicking - WXP Home - Geforce2 + Viewsonic G70m

I have Windows XP Home, NVIDIA Geforce2 MX200 AGP 32MB, and ViewSonic
G70m CRT monitor. The G70m clicks when changing settings.

I installed new NVIDIA drivers from Windows Update, dated May 2, 2003.
After installation, the monitor clicked all the time, even w/o change
of video settings. I had to use System Restore to go back to the old
driver, dated July 2, 2001, to stop the clicking.

I need to stop the clicking *and* use the updated driver, as the old
driver was crashing some of my games with "Infinite Loop" errors.

The clicking is a normal function of the monitor changing the display
resolutions. Not anything you can do about it.
