Modifying attributes

Hi,

Scenario - we use certain attributes on the user objects to populate a web
based phone book for staff. But, when searching by department and/or
location we notice that some details have been entered incorrectly. Is it
possible to have a drop down list of values when updating user info in AD,
rather than a box to type into (the Department and Location fileds in
particular)

I've not came across anything MS to help, but are there any third party
utils?

Sure it is possible, you just need to write the program or web page to
use to do the data population.

If you don't want to write anything look at the Enterprise management
toolsets from Quest and NetPro.

Thanks Joe, we have a real good web developer who's warmed to the idea of
creating a custom interface to update the info with. ;-)
