Modify template / add in location for all word docs on network share

I recently decomissioned a server containing fax and letter templates
for older versions of word. The templates are intact but on a
different server. I have around 200 documents of this nature which are
pointing to an old server for their templates.

Rather than painstakingly going through and opening them all is there
an autoexec macro or way of scripting the change on the affected
documents? or perhaps a 3rd party tool?

Any help would be gratefully accepted. It is causing the documents to
crash word and open slowly.
