Modem install problem

I've this problem:
- control panel
- modem options
- modem/add
- do not find modem..
- have disk..
- search for .inf file (XP version)
- select (the only) modem from list
- next
- select COM2
- next
- some file copying..
- "Modem Setting", Unable to install modem (OK/Abort)

Try with Motolora PCI, Texas Instruments PCI, US-Robotics External

Any suggust?

You think that google is not my friend??? Yes, you are right! It's not my
friend, it's my wife! )

I haven't find nothing intersting in all posts about modem problems; so I've
added Unknown modem device in my XPe image and run Check Dependences. TD
imported 2 new components and now all modem I try to intall works properly!
