MMC something I noticed

I was in the MMC under services, all info was there, service
name/description/status and so forth, I stopped the service to windows auto
update and the description of all services disappeared, or when I open MMC
the descriptions are there until I do an F5 (refresh) and they disapear.
Anyone else expirienced this same issue?
