MM2: AVI Conversion Problem

B

Brian

I have been using MM2 and love it. However, I just
converted an .avi from my Canon S230 Digital elph and the
conversion presents a "darker" movie: it is Not as bright
as the avi file.

It has not happened before during the conversion. Is
there a setting or a control I can use to make the .wmv
brighter? I have saved the .wmv file in various file
sizes, but it still won't correct itself.

Thanks!

Hello Brian,
You might want to try applying the "Brightness, Increase" effect. Applying
this several times will continue to increase the brightness.

Hi there,

From the wording of your message I am guessing you did not import this
DV-AVI file with MM2. If this is so I should try importing it again with MM2
as there may be an issue between the method previously used and your camera.

Wow..the answer was staring at me, wasn't it? I don't
know how I overlooked that setting (and here I thought I
new all of the tranistion tricks.).

Thanks, that did it.
Brian

p.s. John, I did import via MM2.
