MM Playback Speed Fast - Used to work fine

I have used MM several times to copy home movies from my Sony camcorder, with
no problems. Last time I did it was about 3 weeks ago, and I can't think of
anything I've done to my computer since then.
But I just imported a new movie and it plays back very fast. I have checked
that my import format is NSTC, not PAL. I have tried importing with different
settings, and get the same result.
My MM version is 2.1.4026.0
A couple of lines up from that it says Version 5.1 also.
I am running XP with SP3.

I see a lot of people have posted this problem but I haven't seen any
solutions. Anyone?

Thanks in advance!
Dan

Maybe applying the 'Slow Down, Half'
effect would be worth a try.

Also you might consider doing a System
Restore to an earlier time.
