Mixed File systems NTFS and FAT32 on HDDs

Hi

Can different hard drives in a PC use different file systems, eg, with
C:\ using say NTFS and D:\ using FAT32, (or vice versa) ?

Does this apply also to different partitions on the same HDD ?

Thanks MikeN

Each partition can have its own file system, regardless of
what disk it is on.
