Missing XLODBC.XLA for Excel 2003

Hi

We want to use the function SQL.REQUEST in Excel 2003. The
help suggests that it is in the XLODBC.XLA addin which can
be downloaded from the Office Web Site. Well I can't find
it anywhere! There is an Office XP version but it won't
load into Excel 2003.

Can anyone help?

Note that the wording on the Microsoft web page (once you get to it
makes it fairly clear Microsoft is deprecating SQL.REQUEST. That the
provide no alternative that doesn't require end-user programming coul
be taken as an indication that, all things considered, they'd prefe
not to have to do much work in exchange for their Office upgrade fees
