missing winupdate.exe file

When I boot up I get two error messages, cannot open winupdate.exe and
cannont find or load winupdate.exe. It also mentions to remove any reference
to it in the registry? Help.

What this means is that your antivirus app is working, and removed the virus
that creates winupdate.exe. However, it hasn't removed the launcher
reference, which is what you now need to do manually. You can locate the
reference by running msconfig and examining the startup entries.
