Missing Welcome Screen & Logon Screen

After a BIOS problem and restoration of the old BIOS, I no longer get
the XP Welcome Screen, and when I try to turn it on in the "Change the
way I logon/logout" section, I get an error telling me that an
installed program now prevents me from using that function! Lord only
knows what program that is, because it even prevents my picture from
showing up in the XP Start Menu. What is weird is that I have tried
deselecting and reselecting the picture with no success. Can someone
here offer some help? Here's the complete error code:

"A recently installed program has disabled the Welcome screen and Fast
User Switching. To restore these features, you must uninstall the
program. The following file name might help you identify the program
that made the change: ginamsi.dll

Hi,

Start/run regedit, navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\WinLogon.

In the right pane, right click on the entry for GinaDLL and delete it.

I had the same problem. I had just installed a new MSI board and al
the little utilities that MSI provided. I found Smartkey to be th
culprit. Uninstalled Smartkey and it removed the Ginamsi.dll an
restored my Windows Login screen =)
