Computer Club:

I was servicing a members new HP 64BIT with 3 gig Memoryand Vista Home
premium and noted that in All Programs the Windows Programs were missing,
These include Windows mail, Windows Contacts; Windows calandar; etc.

Also in Quick Launch, show desktop was missing.

How can I get these back?

Hi,

Create new shortcuts (file/new/shortcut) to each those programs in this
folder:

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

For the "show desktop", copy/paste the below into notepad, then use
file/'save as' and call it "show desktop.scf" and place it in this folder:

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop
