Missing Tabs

I opened up a worksheet but there were no tabs (there were suppose to be 8
tabs) and when I go to Formatting Cells, there are no unhidden sheets. How do
I find these tabs?

on the menu bar....
format>sheets>unhide
is the unhide menu time enabled? if so click it.
if that's not it, try...
on the menu bar....
tools>options>view tab>check sheet tabs> ok.
