Missing system32.exe

When I boot up, I get the message that windows was unable
to find the file c:/windows/system32/system32.exe. How
serious a problem is this and is there a fix? I would
appreciate any help I could get.

You presumably deleted a virus recently. You're now left with a
reference to it that you also need to remove.

See www.dougknox.com, Win XP Fixes, Clean KWBot.Worm Registry
entries.

Or read
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.kwbot.c.worm.html
and pay particular attention to step 4 in the section headed
"removal instructions," near the bottom.
