Missing Security Tab

Am running xp pro sp1 in a 6 computer workgroup. 2 of the
stations are xp home. I am trying to set access levels
for certain folders and there is no security tab in the
folder properties dialog window. All computers are NTFS.
Where is the securities tabs that lets me set permissions
by user and group?

In Windows Explorer go to Tools, Folder Options, Advanced. Scroll down and uncheck Use Simple File Sharing.

For Home, you need to go to Safe Mode.
For Pro, you need to disable Simple File Sharing
