When I tried to turn my computer, I am getting the following messege:

"Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
Windows\system32\config\system
you can attempt to reapair this fiel by starting windows setup using the
original set up CD-ROM . Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair."

I followed the steps, nothing is happening while i do this and I keep on
getting the same message over and over agin. The reinstallation CD is-windows
XP home edition includes service pack 2.

I would really appreciate if you could helpme with this problem

Thanks

Ummm...he obviously has access to the Internet, or he wouldn't have been
able to post the message. Therefore, he can read the message and follow the
links. Both articles are written with the possibility that you can't boot
in mind. I fail to see the problem.

This very concept was explained to you less than a week ago. Perhaps you
should have your memory tested, as it seems to be failing.
