Missing Items Right-Click New Menu

Hi,

I seem to be missing items from the right-click drop down menu in xp.
Specifically, the "New Text Document" and "New Rich Text Document" is
missing. When I launch TweakUI, the txt file is listed as one of the items
available to remove, but when I right-click on the desktop, it is not one of
the item in the list.

I've gone to the registry HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.txt\ShellNew\ and the NullFile
is present. The only thing that was weird, was in the OpenWithList folder,
there was a sub with Dreamweaver.exe. I did have an Adobe suite installed,
but I recently uninstalled it and I believe that's when all the problems
started.

Any help would be appreciated

To regain the "Text Document" entry under the New menu, download and apply the TXT File Association Fix (Restore default associations for TXT files) from Doug's site: http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm
