missing(?) hard drive?

hey all, thanks in advance for reading this and helping if you can...

just got done building a new system...abit mobo, AMD 64 3800+ processor, 2GB
of memory, an 80gb and a 160gb SATA hard drive set.

vista installed beautifully, no problems at all...now when i build a system,
what i usually do is have the smaller drive be my master for my OS/programs
and things like that, then use the larger (160gb) drive for itunes backup,
movies, pics, etc...

my 160gb drive is NOT showing up under 'my computer', but it IS showing up
in the device manager, so i know windows sees it...i think thats what it
means, right?

anyway, all that 'my computer' is showing is my master/80gb hard drive, and
my optical drive running off an IDE cable...

why is my 160gb NOT showing up, and what can i do to fix it?

once again, thanks in advance!

you're right, richard, that was exactly what my problem was, that it was not
formatted...i had the same problem when i was actually installing Vista, as
it told me it could not install because the SATA drive was not
formatted...fixed it and all was good!

thanks Richard!

Tried using Disk Management to see if it needs to be imported and/or
formatted?
