Missing Folders

Hi, Within my Inbox I had several folders to organise my emails. First of
all these all disappeared including the contents and just showed my Inbox,
Deleted, Sent etc. and their contents. Now all I have is Inbox with nothing
in, and Deleted, Sent etc have all disappeared. I have checked on my
computer and the folders and emails are on their. How do I get to see them
again in Windows Mail?

Try closing all programs and restarting the machine.

I have done that. This has been going on for a couple of days now and it
makes no difference.

Just for the "hell of it ", would you consider doing a system restore,
backdating to the date prior to the problem ?

Also tried a restore and that failed.

try View | Current View | Show all messages in all folders. Also make sure
you click on the left of the inbox in the folder list and see if the
subfolders are under the inbox. If you have truly lost those folders, you
can try to repair the database (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) and if that doesn't
work, then you can try and make new folders and drag the old eml files back
into those folders. See also www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx and the section on
WinMail.
