Missing fields in report preview/print

Eric

I have a multi-user Access 2000 DB, and for a certain
report, one field does not show up in the detail section,
based upon the user who opens the report. For example, if
I preview/print the report from my machine, it does so
correctly. If I go to another user's machine, the report
prints fine except for ONE field in the detail section.

At first I thought it had to do with the printer driver
(and that may very well be the case). However, if I print
to a network printer from machine X all is well. On
machine Y with the same network printer the report goes
kaflooey.

By the way, all machines are using the same version and
service release of Access 2000.

I'm losing my mind on this and my boss is breathing down
my neck for a solution. Any suggestions before I go postal?

Regards,

Eric

Many years ago, (Access1.1 - hey am I really that old?) I ran into a
problem that sounds like this one. What was happening was that some
printers would NOT print a field that was overlapped by another.
Others would print as if the first field was transparent. As a prnter
is really just the driver as far as Windows is concerned, It may well
be that different drivers for the same machine may be handling the
controls differently

Try spacing out the fields so there is no possibility of overlap & see
if the problem goes away
