missing emails

dear all,
i have a questions that make me confused,i have an archive folder with size
153 MB, once i tried to add this file to my outlook 2007, some emails were
missing .however i checked the size of this folder through outlook by right
click on its properties i found it 64 MB.

the missed emails are very important to me ,do you have any suggestions?

I'm afraid it's not really very clear what's going on. You have an
Archive.PST file, right? And you opened that with Outlook because you
wanted to find some messages in it? But when you looked there were
messages that you believed should have been in the Archive.PST but they
weren't there?

Are you sure you don't have a filter applied to the view? Only some
messages were missing; other messages were there? Could they be in a
sub-folder?

thanks for your care.
yes,i have an archive file,i opened it but i was surprised when some
messages are missing while the other are there, do u mean by filter that i
have created a search folders ?
what is the reason for the difference in sizes between the two views?
