Hi,

Try the follow steps:
-Create the system restore before following the steps

.. Open Registry Editor (start->run->regedit)

2. Browse to following folder:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Policies\System

3. Check the value of the following keys:
· NoDispAppearancePage
· NoDispBackgroundPage
· NoDispScrSavPage
· NoDispSettingsPage
If any of these keys have value as 1 , set the value to 0

4. Close registry editor and check display properties. There is no need to
restart
the system

Thanks Muzafar, your instructions were very clear. I recently had a virus
that loaded a fake blue screen of death. I ran virus scan to remove the virus
and then noticed the screen saver tab was missing. Your steps restored my
dispaly settings, thanks for your help.

Muzafar:

Your a life saver. I got the mirar virus and removed it and lost the same
tabs in the process. Your help made getting them back painless. You make up
for all the punks out there who come up with these harmful viruses and made
my day a little better...Thanks again.
