Missing data when importing data from Excel

Hi! I have an Excel (2003) file generated from a 3rd party software.

When I import the data in this file to a new table in Access (2003) mdb
file, the import process is successful without any error message. But the
last record in the Excel file always disappear in the table.

I noticed that if I save the Excel file (without doing anything, just file
-> save) before the importing process, everything will be fine.

Any ideas what is causing the problem?

all I can add is that I've seen similar.....and concluded that it isn't
Access. It probably isn't even Excel. It is the 3rd party product that
indicates it is outputting in Excel but has a glitch....so one does that
second save process while in excel and everything works ok...

I've just had to live with it.....
