Missing Channel on AIW 9700Pro

[Malam]

I am having problems receiving the lower channels on my AIW 9700Pro.
I live in the Toronto area of Canada. The tuner does not receive the
lower channels 2,3,4,5 and 6. I have a Tv set in the same room on the
same line and all these channels are ok. Everytime I do an autoscan,
it starts from channel 7. I am on cable TV. Any ideas please ? I am
using MMC 9.0

Found the culprit! I had the cable connected through an APC Power
Surge protector. Once I connected directly to the tuner all the
channels were ok. The surge protector was supposed to be passive, why
the filteration ?
