Missing bridge.dll file error when starting Wins2000

I'm getting a Missing File error when system boots up.
System is unable to completely boot up when I receive the
the file missing error "Cannot find bridge.dll file". I
click on OK and the system is allowed to finish booting up
and appears to come up OK. What do I need to do to
resolve this issue of the missing bridge.dll file?

This file is not a Windows file, it is from spyware.
Run Adaware, or equivalent
