I've received an e-mail with a .mim attachment and can't open it. Can anyone

in Very Basic Terms:
Ask the person who sent you the attachment what program they used to create
the attachment.

..mim is 'Multi-Purpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME) File' and can be
accessed using Winzip.

The file extension associated with MS Word is ".doc", not ".mim".
As Thorodin indicated, you can obtain answers to these very basic types of
questions by searhing the Internet via Google.

Thanks for your time. i'll ask the person to resend using word - since the
document is a Brownie newsletter I don't want to have to spend £30 to open
