Migratng from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007

I currently have Outlook 2003 on my XP desktop.

I wsant to move messages, folder strucure, accounts ( i use several),
profiles etc and settings to my Vista Laptop wth Outlook2007, which will now
be my primary email machine.

I think I know how to deal with the messages (.pst file - ive looked at
http://office.microsoft.com/en-ca/outlook/HA012308921033.aspx); but Im not
at all sure about the other stuff.

Messages, Contacts, Tasks, folder structure, etc. will all go with the .PST
file. Accounts and Profiles are in the registry and can only be transferred
using the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard.

Thank you. Sounds easy, but ....
Office 2003 has a number of other files, .srs .nk2 etc
Do I move these too (if so to where?) or do I leave them.

You don't have to worry about the SRS file, but you may want to copy the NK2
file. It's your autocompletion cache. If, after setting up your new mail
profile and configuring Outlook, if you name the NK2 file to match the new
mail profile name, your autocompletion suggestions should work. See if this

You don't have to worry about the SRS file, but you may want to copy the NK2
file. It's your autocompletion cache. If, after setting up your new mail
profile and configuring Outlook, if you name the NK2 file to match the new

Lat question, and apologies if its a silly one.
What happens if I have both clients active at the same time (on a wireless
network).
Will they let me sign in to the same email account?
If so , what happens when mail arrives - I assume it will go to just one
machine.

I'm not sure what you mean by "clients" here. If you mean two Outlook
instances, it depends. If you have them configured to leave copies on the
server, there shouldn't be an issue, but it's hard to say what the server
will do until you try it. Most servers should allow you to log in multiple
times simultaneously.
